Just another reason how government in California, and in other states in general, are so out of touch with the American public. There are so many other serious problems that are affecting the multitudes, but instead some goofy legislator (FRAN PAVLEY) is going to save us from all of the EVILS of the world. It's soooo important to pass laws to outlaw everything from costume jewelry to 1 ply toilet paper. GET A LIFE -DUMB ASS!

People who know nothing about motorcycles should not be given the ability to legislate anything against them.

Just when everything is going great..BAM!!!! Moving violation and a computer virus all in one week.

PERFECTION

This is s Sporty Rico (Hi-Bond Modified) put together a couple of years ago. Not sure were this bike ended up, haven't seen it around these parts. Simple and clean, something that the motor company needs adapt to attract new customers. Of course they'll never put out something of this nature due to all of the restrictions now days, so build your own, make your mark.


Found out from a friend today that the motor company is scaling back production in a big way. I guess in their infinite wisdom limiting production will drive the price of a HD up to make them MORE profitable. They figure making money like OPEC will make them the darlings of the motorcycle world. Mark my words, it won't work. They are also going to be closing down many of the HD boutiques where you can purchase a $2.50 Tee shirt for $50.00.

They gave Buell the axe just as they were starting to get competitive. They cut out the 883R project. All the signs of greed are there. I hate to say it, but HD seems to be on the same path as GM, at least from a business model perspective. They are losing touch with the riders (customers) and only listening to the cash registers.

Stay tuned boys and girls, this is going to get interesting.

UH OH, AS I WAS SAYING -NO LOVE-

Wow, here's the latest from OS. Poor guy. Can you say lawsuit? After 25 years of service to his community this is the thanks he gets. Now who do you think is causing all of the uproar? Remember the couple on the bagger?

To all fellow Love Riders, Volunteers and valued Supporters:

It appears there may have been a misunderstanding about the information that was sent out yesterday regarding the Love Ride being forced to cancel this year.

First of all, the activities going on at Glendale Harley-Davidson during the Love Ride weekend are in support of the Love Ride Foundation. All proceeds generated from the sale of previous and current year's Love Ride merchandise is all going to benefit the charity. The Love Ride Foundation is a IRS 501c3 recognized non profit charity. All donations made to the Foundation are tax deductible.

Secondly, we are willing to give refunds to those of you who have already been generous enough to pre-register for the event. We understand that times are hard for everyone and that many of you would rather get your money back than make a donation for an event that you will not be able to participate in.

We were simply asking that you consider maintaining all or part of the money you had contributed in order to assist the Love Ride Foundation in covering the obligations it has incurred thus far in preparing for this event. This is why we offered Love Ride 26 souvenir pin, patch and t-shirt in exchange for the donation as a token of our appreciation for your continued support.

We are all very saddened by this turn of events but the Love Ride spirit is still very much alive in all of us and we very much look forward to returning when times are better for everyone.

SOME DUMB ASS CAUGHT OUR HILLS ON FIRE

After many years of cruising around the Crest some BONEHEAD intentionally started a fire, killed two firefighters and in the process destroyed a wilderness like no other.


This is what Hidden Springs Cafe looks like now.
Just a few weeks ago Rick and I rode up there and he took these pictures of our bikes. We didn't wait around for the place to open, we should have.
