MR.DH Checks Out

Many tributes to one of Hollywood's resilient. Read that Easy Riders was not intended to be Motorcycle movie. It was meant to capture the state of mind of the Country at the time and give you a glimpse of the who Hippie/Commune lifestyle. The movie cost about 380K to make and netted something like 40 million!

Here are some pictures that are floating around the other blogs I follow. If you recently saw the way Dennis looked in March when he finally got his star in Hollywood, it's a far cry of what he used to look like. Just goes to show you how much cancer sucks.

PISMO BEACH MOTORCYCLE CLASSIC UPDATE !!!

Greetings from the P.B.M.C. headquarters. We have registrants from all over California,Arizona,Nevada, and even Canada pre-registered, so this is sure to be a great time.
FREE:
First the good stuff...to show our appreciation in pre-registering, we have decided to reward you with 10 free raffle tickets. We will have lots of great prizes being raffled off throughout the day, and you already have a head start. This offer is open for anyone that registers by May 31st, so tell your friends they had better hurry. (Don't be stingy with the raffle tickets, remember, givers gain!)
Gear:
We are also going to have a very limited order of T-Shirts on hand for sale Saturday, and Sunday, while supplies last. Because of the limited number, we have created an option for you to pre-order your shirts on our website at
http://www.pismobeachmotorcycleclassic.com/GEAR.html Be sure to get this one of a kind collectable in your size by ordering now. All pre-orders will be waiting for you, in your check in bag, on Saturday.
Sponsorship:
We are always looking for ways to keep our cost down on the PBMC, and one of the ways you can help, and be a part of history, is to sponsor our T-Shirt, and/or donate something for one of our raffles. If you are interested in learning more, please check out our website
http://www.pismobeachmotorcycleclassic.com/SPONSORS.html and contact Laura or I so we can get you signed up.
Party:
Saturdays event is shaping up nicely as well. We have just signed our first band "Rubber Side Down"
http://www.rsd-music.com/ and we can't be more excited. We also have vendors lining up, to complete the street fair atmosphere. The city of Oceano Beach, has graciously granted us a permit to close the street down in from of the Rock and Roll Diner, so there will be plenty of room to mingle and enjoy some great food and drink.
The rest of the day is coming together, and I don't want to spoil any surprises, but we are looking at more bands, bikinis, trophies, food, cheer, laughs, and not necessarily in that order. Stay tuned for further details, and make sure to check out
www.PismoBeachMotorcycleClassic.com for updated details.

LOOKING FOR A 60'S RIDE - CAGE

Here's the deal...

Need to find a good running 60's vehicle for my offspring. Here are some of the basic things I'm looking for to bring it home.

It's got to be AMERICAN MADE,

automatic

Power steering

Good brakes

Prefer a straight 6 but, will consider a small 8 banger

Prefer a 2 door, but will consider 4 if not too big

At least a working gas gauge

Minimal rust (magnet test will be done) straight body, good glass

Most important...No title drama. If you got the PINK-let's talk

I'm not looking for a classic to restore, just something easy to maintain to enable a kid to learn the value of keeping things up and how to do them on your own. I've got a budget of around 5k -tops.

email me or call 626.353.0711. Ask for Joe

WORK SUCKS BUT I NEED THE BUCKS

I learned a valuable but sad lesson last week, and I haven't been in much of a mood to publish or read anything.
I will never get used to the idea that people are indispensable and need to be treated like crap just to make a BUCK. How many BILLIONS is enough before you put the loyalty of long time employees before making A FEW extra pennies?
BIG TAKE AWAY HERE..MANAGEMENT LIES AND DON'T GIVE A RATS ASS ABOUT YOUR NEEDS OR FAMILY.
KARMA IT'S TIME TO KICK IN...
