If you ever get a chance to Run With the Roses you should do it. Before the ride you can enjoy a morning full of clean machines. Levi and his crew from Hopper were doing an interview with the owner of this interesting looking Triumph.
Later after the ride ends and Bill has passed out his traditional Rose stickies you can have some NEW YEAR'S cheer at the local pub off of Raymond and Colorado.
All-in-all a great way to kick off your New Years Eve.

MOTORCYCLE MONDAY
As the year comes to an end it's time to reflect on how to make improvements in life to make 2011 a tad bit better.
Here's a good start...
If you want to spread the word on any of your events, or just want to pass the word along, please drop me a note. I'll be more than happy to pass it along to my circle. It's no secret that word of mouth works, especially with the help of the Internet.
December 31 (Thursday) Marks 25 years "Bib's" "Run for the Roses. If you want to see a great collection of bikes, mostly Brrrritsh , that folks are not afraid to run come check-em out. Here's the deal. Meet at breakfast at Burger Continental. 535 S. Lake, Pasadena. Ride leaves at 11am for Angeles Crest returning to Old Town Pasadena (Lucky Baldwin's Pub) for pre-parade festivities and New Year's Eve good cheer. Contact Bib for more info @ 626.791.0259.

MOTO MONDAY
Yea it wasn't as glamorous as the MOONEYES shows however, the turn out was great and the picture that was taken came out real nice. This time the picture was taken in COLOR, which in my opinion, is less artistic but more realistic. You see bikers can be patient and orderly. It took about 90 minutes to get everyone onto the sand and positioned.
Getting the bikes on and off the sand was a bitch. Add a mean hangover and you have the perfect makings for a RALPH fest. My bud Tony rode my bike to the hotel as I staggered my way back...and he got up early enough to ride the bike down to the beach as I stayed behind and made promises to the porcelain Gods never to drink again. THANKS AGAIN TO ALL WHO ATTENDED THE PISMO BEACH MOTORCYCLE CLASSIC

----------D. MANN CHOPPERFEST PHOTOS----------CARE OF RM
Naturally I failed to make both the Chopperfest and Mooneyes show. Luckily Mild Mannered Rick made it to the Chopperfest show. It was a real nice December day, temps in the 70's-80's.
Looks like there was a good turn out of some nice machines, with of course some of the biker drama associated with the "biker mentality". (this is where I feel like saying, "can't we just all get along")
There are some other real cool blogs that have more pictures of these two shows, so get that mouse a-clickin. Better yet, RIDE OUT TO THE SHOWS and send me the pictures so I can give you the full credit you deserve.

THIS IS THE LEAST WE CAN DO FOR OUR VETS
Veterans should get free meals anywhere anytime if it was up to me.
One day a year is not enough to recognize those who have served and continue to fight for us.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE BRRRRITISH
November 7 (Sunday) - The 31st Annual Hansen Dam All British Ride, aka
the best ride by a dam site.: Called one of the countrys biggest classic bike happenings by Cycle World. Last years event attracted around 800 bikes, mostly British. Same meeting place as last year, get off the 210 at Osborne as usual, then go west about ¾ of a mile on Foothill Blvd. and south (left if you are going west) onto Osborne for about ¼ mile. Enter the park at Dronfield. Go down the hill to the southwest corner of the dam. Click Here to view map!!! Gates open at 8 am, get there early for coffee, donuts etc. Ride leaves at 10 am, returning around 1:30 pm for ride pin distribution (free to British mounted riders) and show bike awards in six categories. Contact Bib at 626 791-0259 or E-mail for more information.
Thanks Rick for the info!
