We often forget that while we enjoy the freedoms of working on our bikes, spending time with close friends and doing all the things we enjoy on a daily basis, there of those of us who are not as fortunate. Countless people join the military to find a way out of lives with limited resources, while those in power toy with their lives as their sons and daughters are shipped to fancy foreign universities to hide behind the vial of academia. When was the last time you read in the paper or watched on the evening news that a senator's, governor's, or any other high ranking officials kid was sent to war? The more reason we should give thanks to those who are less fortunate today. You know who you are...THANK YOU!

The AVI still hosts the drags. Got to run em this time. Would have done a couple of more runs, except I lost my oil cap and sprayed oil all over the track and my tire.

Attendance was way down again this year. Nothing but baggers, baggers and more baggers. Still fun though to see friends we haven't seen in a while. Here's the first batch of pictures.

Got a boat at home that needs some hull work? Here's a cleaver way to put that pile to good use. You turn it into a bar of course..A "BOAT BAR". Yep, some of the people there are fed up with the Run and are looking for ways to bring it back to a RUN instead of a goofy show and shine.

Still it was fun and despite a little wind the weather was great!

In a world where people are too self conscious and worry about what everyone thinks, or if they got the right look, blah, blah, blah. It's refreshing to see some people don't really give a crap about all that and do what ever it takes to have a little fun. JUNE WILL BE HERE IN NO TIME

Last year rode out to the race to check out some vintage iron and enjoy the sounds of Smile Face Down, hosted by none other that the master of good times - Meatball. You've got to check this out. If you have a dirtbike sitting in the corner of your garage that you haven't started in 20 years, now's your excuse the clean out the carb and fire-it-up. If it won't fire, be a spectator and support this event. Guaranteed to keep you bustin' up all day long.

Back in the 70's these were the shit. There's nothing so memorable than exhaust tone and smell coming out of these.



Equally as cool back then was a Kawi Tripple. You better have a set of plugs if your going to ride this around all day.

HD Sprint. Now i know where Honda got the idea for this type of engine.

Last summer got a chance to visit the paddock thanks to the Ulrich racing team. YEA - Monster. This bike had just taken a spill. No injuries, just a few scrathes.

This is just cool. Sight glass to watch them moving parts. Hmmmmm. This gives me and idea.

Look very closely at this picture. Someone takes their gas out when their not riding..
