THINGS ARE LOOKING UP

Is it me or have we gotten off to a slow start. Sure the economy still sucking the big one, but hopefully people will start to adjust to these new realities, like no more overtime, bonuses, and affordable health care (sorry had to throw that one in there).

MOVIE NIGHT ON HOLD !!!! VENUE SHUT DOWN !!!!

Just to let you know this event is on HOLD for the time being. I just got an Email from George last night and he reported that the Rialto has been condemned. Yep, the fire marshals were not impressed with the electrical system in the joint and shut it down.

PMC members are working hard to come up with a different venue for the show. If anyone has any suggestions I’m sure George (626) 818-2450 would like to hear them. Stay tuned for up-to-date information on this and the other PMC events on the official web site..

I was really surprised this week with all the rain there weren't that many accidents, I saw a couple of solo deals on the 605 where it was obvious the hydro Gods got the best of them. How can you wreck when your driving on a straight road? It did make for some nice shots, and at the end of the week two wheel rewards...

How often do you really get a good deal? If you're like me, it's not too often. I was told that this seat came off a bike that was featured on a Discovery channel bike. I thank the kangaroo, the manna-ray and the bloke for letting me acquire such a find.

PERFECTION

This is s Sporty Rico (Hi-Bond Modified) put together a couple of years ago. Not sure were this bike ended up, haven't seen it around these parts. Simple and clean, something that the motor company needs adapt to attract new customers. Of course they'll never put out something of this nature due to all of the restrictions now days, so build your own, make your mark.


Found out from a friend today that the motor company is scaling back production in a big way. I guess in their infinite wisdom limiting production will drive the price of a HD up to make them MORE profitable. They figure making money like OPEC will make them the darlings of the motorcycle world. Mark my words, it won't work. They are also going to be closing down many of the HD boutiques where you can purchase a $2.50 Tee shirt for $50.00.

They gave Buell the axe just as they were starting to get competitive. They cut out the 883R project. All the signs of greed are there. I hate to say it, but HD seems to be on the same path as GM, at least from a business model perspective. They are losing touch with the riders (customers) and only listening to the cash registers.

Stay tuned boys and girls, this is going to get interesting.

Cops? Listen, at the end of the day these guys are just working class stiffs just like you and me, except these guys get to ride motorcycles all day long and carry guns. As in ALL industries there are good one's and some real MOFO's. I'm certain all of us have encountered both sides of this trait in human nature and have our stories to back up the feelings.

Typically, recommending music is like telling someone drag bars are better than apes.....and so on. However, there is no denying that all of the songs on Revolution Mothers newest album are the best so far. I don't now if it's the production quality or what, but there is no so-so song on the whole album. These guys progressively get better and better. Check it out you won't be disappointed.
