====WHERE AM i ???====

Zoey the Wonder Dog takes over, decides to do some renovations around the Garage. One thing leads to another and suddenly your working 24 hours of overtime, no time for life again.

So last time out we went to the Dice Party in Duarte. A bit of a disappointment I must say. The parking lot was so dark you couldn't see shit. The turn out was not as good but, as they say, it's not quantity it's the quality. Nice bikes, lots of classy wheels. One thing for sure, I can now confirm that the 3 Corman's SUCK! Hey, my ears have many years of experience and when it comes to music I can be pretty objective and tolerant of a few bad notes and off key screamo but, after a while it's just not funny. Purposely causing feedback with your guitar just gets annoying. Too bad though because the Dick Dale type sounds are cool at times but, that's my take and I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way.

Sneak peak of the bike that is going to be at both events this weekend. Yes, it is for sale. Get a chance to speak to the builder/owner. Stuff this nice and new does not last. JUMP ON IT!

JANUARY HALF GONE-BCM R.I.P

After doing some searching around, found out that one of my favorite bLOGS is no more. Not sure what happened but it sounds like the Evil Doers had a hand in it. BCM R.I.P and hope things iron themselves out. It was a good run and I personally enjoyed every post.

====CONSIDER COMING OUT OF HIBERNATION====

When you think of Duarte, motorcycles and debauchery don't really come to mind. So, how do you resolve this? Bring in Dice Magazine of course. That'll do it.

RUN FOR THE ROSES - PASADENA - NEW YEARS EVE

If you ever get a chance to Run With the Roses you should do it. Before the ride you can enjoy a morning full of clean machines. Levi and his crew from Hopper were doing an interview with the owner of this interesting looking Triumph.

Later after the ride ends and Bill has passed out his traditional Rose stickies you can have some NEW YEAR'S cheer at the local pub off of Raymond and Colorado.

All-in-all a great way to kick off your New Years Eve.

SWEET Sporty Chop . HI-BOND MODIFIED STYLE

No matter how many times I see these pictures, I still have not seen a bike as clean and perfect as this one.

MOTO MONDAY

Yea it wasn't as glamorous as the MOONEYES shows however, the turn out was great and the picture that was taken came out real nice. This time the picture was taken in COLOR, which in my opinion, is less artistic but more realistic. You see bikers can be patient and orderly. It took about 90 minutes to get everyone onto the sand and positioned.

Getting the bikes on and off the sand was a bitch. Add a mean hangover and you have the perfect makings for a RALPH fest. My bud Tony rode my bike to the hotel as I staggered my way back...and he got up early enough to ride the bike down to the beach as I stayed behind and made promises to the porcelain Gods never to drink again. THANKS AGAIN TO ALL WHO ATTENDED THE PISMO BEACH MOTORCYCLE CLASSIC

----------D. MANN CHOPPERFEST PHOTOS----------CARE OF RM

Naturally I failed to make both the Chopperfest and Mooneyes show. Luckily Mild Mannered Rick made it to the Chopperfest show. It was a real nice December day, temps in the 70's-80's.

Looks like there was a good turn out of some nice machines, with of course some of the biker drama associated with the "biker mentality". (this is where I feel like saying, "can't we just all get along")

There are some other real cool blogs that have more pictures of these two shows, so get that mouse a-clickin. Better yet, RIDE OUT TO THE SHOWS and send me the pictures so I can give you the full credit you deserve.

THIS IS THE LEAST WE CAN DO FOR OUR VETS

Veterans should get free meals anywhere anytime if it was up to me.

One day a year is not enough to recognize those who have served and continue to fight for us.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE BRRRRITISH

November 7 (Sunday) - The 31st Annual Hansen Dam All British Ride, aka “… the best ride by a dam site”.: Called one of the country’s biggest classic bike happenings by Cycle World. Last year’s event attracted around 800 bikes, mostly British. Same meeting place as last year, get off the 210 at Osborne as usual, then go west about ¾ of a mile on Foothill Blvd. and south (left if you are going west) onto Osborne for about ¼ mile. Enter the park at Dronfield. Go down the hill to the southwest corner of the dam. Click Here to view map!!! Gates open at 8 am, get there early for coffee, donuts etc. Ride leaves at 10 am, returning around 1:30 pm for ride pin distribution (free to British mounted riders) and show bike awards in six categories. Contact Bib at 626 791-0259 or E-mail for more information.

Thanks Rick for the info!
